Don't get me wrong, I bet this car is strong as hell... But $25K? Give me a break... please tell me your kidding... The car itself is HARDLY worth 3K. BTW, you should've thrown all this stuff in the black CRX... THAT would've been sick.

Good luck finding a buyer for that price. Don't get me wrong, the car is tight and fast from what you say, but for that price, you might want to sell it to a kid with rich parents.

 

Im asking 25k as a starting point for negotiations. I dont expect to get it. Besides this is not a civic CX with I/H/E. It is a 500hp street car.

You guys are out of your minds! Even though I agree $25k is a little on the steep end, but come on....$8k? That's an insult. But if he wants to sell it @ $25k, that's his right to ask for as much as he wants. Now, if he wants to actually SELL it, there's going to have to be some negotiation. But who knows?...someone might actually buy it for $25k?

I like the car. I believe $12-15k would be more resonable. Remember, it's not JUST like buying the parts and putting them all together...the guy's actually tuned it and ran some pretty nice times with it. That alone is worth something as well.

Yup, and that's why we're offering a USED car price, with USED and abused parts... Real simple, if he had JUST build it... and had little to no miles on it... maybe more. Though I'm certain this car has seen my stoplight drags that one could believe. (Not to stereotype)

Don't listen to these cheap *** chinatown lowballers. As someone who built an 11 sec car, I know what goes into it, and I think what your asking is perfectly reasonable. Don't trip about barney buyers. (8k??? wtf???) They don't know their **** from their shinola. Anyone serious knows what your car is worth and will pay it.

I agree. Especially after someone puts so much of their own money, and time into a project like that car. Why do all you people think he's going to let it go at less than half the cost it took to build it? Of course hes going to try to get some of the money back that he invested, thats to be expected. But 8,000 bucks? Come on, if your that cheap than don't hassle the man, and don't insult him with those penny pinching enthusiasts-on-a-college-student-budget prices.
