well blew my auto. what would be the advantages and disadvantages of doing a f22 or h22? i know that the f22 is easier to find and cheaper to do.

 

definitely go with a h22, i believe that's all the 5th gen came in. why would you want to downgrade?

vir2L on preludeonline has done this. Sorry, don't have any additional information regarding this swap, but he would.

 

what would be the pros and cons of doing this

 

pro: F22 trannies are less expensive than H22 trannies.
con: You'll probably have to custom fab the passenger side tranny mount, as the 5th gen tranny mount is probably not going to work. There may be other fabrication involved that I don't know about.
