Default tranny problem...

ok im getting ready to boost, my y1 tranny grinds a hard third so its time to get a new tranny. I plan on running 8 psi on my b16a with stock internals. Here is my options

option#1 i have an extra ls tranny its decent, throw it, (maybe the gear ratios too shitty still with boost?)

option#2 get the new hasport mount kit (my mounts are the steel hasports and are getting kinda shitty) and get a gsr tranny (better ratios last longer).

What do you guys think is a better route, the ls would be cheeper but the gearing is very high will this kill me with out excessive boost.

Thanks

Dont knock the LS trans. I have a B17 (not much more powerful at all than the B16) with a 93 LS trans and i beat a friend of mine with the same car ('89 hatch), but with the B16 with J1. I take him on the street as well as on the freeway. I dont pull away like crazy but i do get ahead and stay ahead. We have the same bolt ons as well.
