Default is it cheaper to buy aftermarket rods or get my b20 rods shotpeened and balance?

forget about the aftermarket rods i just did some research, so what's the usually cost of getting rods shotpeened and balance?

it's for a b20vtec with a redline of 8500rpm, i have no intentions of revving that high on daily basis because i don't i'll need too.

i'm thinking of doing the samething to my b20 rods, but i might get them cryo(frozen) treated. i'll probably get the crank balanced and micro polished, and get arp bolts on the rods while i have a machine shop open up the valve reliefs on the stock b20z pistons

hey if you have the money, why not do that. i'm just trying to see how much power i can get, out of a stock bottomend with little modifications! when money comes available, i'll do a strong build up!

if that's the case, put some slugs in there and break them in and break them in ASAP
