are these any good for that price, their website seems to be ok cept they dont have much on it
This brand new bare JDM Cylinder Head was ordered directly from Honda of Japan. This Head is unique because it comes from the Honda factory ported and polished and it has a fantastic valve job designed to optimize air flow.
You will pick up at least another 5-10hp at the tires by going to this cylinder head plus you will be able to sell your stock cylinder head to pay for a good portion of the change over.
Larger gains will be realized if you use higher lift camshafts such as Skunk 2 Stage 2 or something similar! This cylinder head comes with the factory honda installed valve guides and valve stem seals, as well as the cam caps and cam rails.
heres the head on their website

when i get started building a motor, its gonna be super clean when im finished you could eat off of it when its done, not that youd want to, i guess i could get any head like that, it finally sank in, thats way too much $$$ for that head
you can get a complete usdm itr head from bert o for under 1200
if you add in the price of valves, rocket arms, lmas, springs, retainers, keepers, cams, cam gears
600 isnt that much of a good price
you can find complete gsr heads that are used for under 600. add better springs and lma's and another 400 for valve job then you have a better forming head

Sounds too good to be true. A new head, without cams or LMA's is around $900 dealer net. Something's fishy.
ive talked with the guy before
he gets them from jdm land as complete heads
he then sells of the cams, valves, and other stuff
it isnt a usdm head bought from the dealer
i thought you could get complete heads from bert-o or len for around 1200?

That sounds about right. A bare head costs around $900, a complete head is around $1150. If you buy a new head, complete is the only way to go, even if you don't need cams or LMA's. Just sell the cams and you still have more for le$$.
