Default WHO OWNS OR BUILDING PRO/AM IN NOR CAL?

I'm building a PRO/AM type-r. I just want to get an idea of the people that are running in my class. If you or anyone you know that owns or under-construction,post it to let people know how NORCAL is doing.

88 CR-X PRO/FWD

00 TYPE-R PRO/AM

There's not any from Northern Cali, that I know of. But I'm sure there's some that could run in the class if they showed up. I know the SVP crx could if he went. At the IDRC final's there were 8 cars only-1 Blew up, 1 from AZ.,1 from UT. Mine from NV. and I think everyone else was from Southern Cal.

????. what you talkin about, i can think of about 4-5 that are being built to run that class and then some that are already prepped for it.

Are we talkin all-motor or Turbo? If both then Yes there is more. But Just cause its built or prepped Doesn't mean it running in the class. Most people don't like to tow to a Idrc Event seeing the closest one is 450 miles or so from northern Cal.

Turbo class! well,I guess it's ok. I just want to have a good idea what the level of competition here in Nor Cal. There is gonna be a sh+t load of cars that competes in this class in the states(PRO/AM). Correct me if I'm wrong,NHRA pro/am is considered power adders running on street trim.

NHRA is Sport/FWD--IDRC is Pro-am
NHRA is a 16 car field, and IDRC is a 8 car. All of the last West Coast NHRA events we didn't have more than 8 or 9 cars. Figure for 2004 you will need to run at Least 11.30ish I would say on the West Coast to Qualify. In Pro/am Next year 10.80's to Qualify. Just my experience From running both classes this year

Which circuit you think it's best to run for the money. NHRA/IDRC????
I don't have a problem trying to qualify if it's in the 10sec. zone.

PRO/FWD 88 CR-X
SFWD 00 TYPE-R

IDRC for sure. The winning payout is better, and the contigency payout is better.

I'm not sure about the pro-class payouts, you could go to IDRC's website. I'm pretty sure they show the payouts there. I think NHRA pays $2,000. for a win in the upper classes, but again I'm not certain.

i talk to loc tran a few months ago, he said we was coming back to retake his track "sac-town" but i don't know, i was in a rush and couldn't really talk to him.

he got into a motorcycle accident and messed up his arm really bad, that's why he lagging on it.

i know daniel lee from team devastating, who ran 11.04 @ 128MPH, is rebuilding up his street car.
