Mugen ECU for S2000
Do a search on s2ki.com. Lot of discussion on it there.
Because it alters fuel & timing, the following is recommended; min 92 Octane, Mugen thermostat, thermoswitch and radiator cap.

basically...
for 1500 USD, you get a Mugen ECU which alters the timing slightly, leans out the motor a bit, decreases fuel consumption. it also does not have an immobilizer on it, which means, you can make a copy of your key without a mobilizer in it to start up the car.
worth 1500 clams? well, to some people it is. but other items such as an AEM EMS (tuned) or even just a V-AFC (tuned) can perform much much better. but others like the JDM sound of having a Mugen ECU and paying out the *** for it.
