Whats a good drop for a 97 accord on 18's
Im getting a 97 accord soon after i get rid of my 96 civic hatchback and I looking into getting some 18in racing hartf c5's and just wondering if you guys can recommend a good spring for me I dont want to be on the ground I just want no wheel gap. Any suggestions are great thanks.
Coilovers, since we don't really know what exactly is a "good drop" for you. I have ground controls, they're really nice.. i have them set at about 2.5" all around. You also have the Tein Basic Damper that people like. Stay away from skunk2 and cheap generic brand coilovers.
Make sure you pay attention to your camber and install camber kit at the same time, i went thru 2 sets of tires before i got on the bacll and fixed my camber problems, and its more expensive later on than doing it all at once.

yea I was thinking about 1.75 -1.50 somewhere around there I think would there still be wheel gap? I dotn really want coilovers because I have those now and never adjust them. I have a 2.25 in drop now with 16's but I dont think ill need if im gonna be riding on 18's.
i know my car with the body kit looked like frigging ready to go offroading when i put 18's on it, maybe it was just me seeing it with those instead of the 16's but it did seem a lot higher. in the beginnin gi had some check coilovers and a 3"+ drop.. was slammed. but after two bumpers and one set of sideskirts i decided to rais it up a bit.
Like i said if u want to fine tune how your car will be (kinda like i was able to) get coilovers, once u install springs there's no way to adjust the height.
