hey everyone!!! hope u're all having a great christmas!!! i was going to make a homemadeturbo kit for my accord, but i realized that having 150k miles and an auto tranny is not the best for turbo.

1. 14b Turbo. Bought from DSM owner, has ~90k miles. NO shaft play in any direction. Exhaust housing has some small cracks but not major. Wastegate hole also has some small cracks but not major. The fins spin easily. Comes with O2 housing and compressor outlet flange plus the intercooler hose. also. $120 shipped.

2. 1st Gen DSM SMIC. Has no cracks, fins are in good condition. $60 shipped.

3. 1st Gen DSM BOV. It is in great condition, no damage to it, not crushed. $45 shipped.

4. Original SMC fuel management. Corrects fuel for larger injectors. $50 shipped.

5. 1st Gen DSM 450cc Blue Top Injectors. Great condition, no cracks or damage. $60 shipped.

6. Brand new Autometer 2 1/16" boost gauge, silver, pro comp i think, comes with everything to install, $45 shipped.

7. 96-00 Honda Civic dual gauge pod, size 2 1/16". Bought it off someone on H-T. $20 shipped.

8. 2 quantities of 4 NGK BKR6E spark plugs. $8 shipped for 1 set of 4.

9. 1st Gen DSM manifold. Good for 4th gen accords looking for a turbo manifold. Has some hairline cracks, otherwise it is in good condition. $35 shipped.

any idea of what kinda power/ 1/4 mile times one can expect with this kind of set-up, I am interested.

 

well it all depends on tuning, exhaust size, and how many psi you're going to run on.

me personally, if i were to install this kit and tune it with a DIY-WB that i was going to build on my auto tranny, i was expecting low 15's/ high 14's and probably 160-170whp and 170-180lb/ft of torque on 8psi. which is much better than my 17.3 that i ran. on a 5 speed u should run high 14's and possilby mid 14's. with some more boost and good tuning u could easily get 200+whp.

 

I do have a 5spd, w/ act stage 2 clutch. I would be using a 3" turbo back exhaust. Looking to run 8-10 psi. But not sure about, tuning or fuel management. Anyone have any suggestions.

 

SMC can be your fuel management. for tuning, u can either go to a shop with a wideband O2 sensor to tune, or u can build your own DIY-WB
