Suspension question...
Got a situation. I'm about to bust in and begin my project. My base is a 1991 Civic Hatchback 4spd stick with the POS...I wanna say D15 engine, I never paid much attention, just didn't wanna think about the sh**-ness it is. Anyways, I'm also lookin' to have a sit a LITTLE lower, but not so low it scrapes on every little pebble in the street, I'm putting in 15" spoon "streamline" as I've also seen them called rims and such. The typical performance crap. The start of my project will be the suspension. My question is this: any place I can go that sells a full kit or any suggested companies or combinations I can try? I'm looking to get it as hard as I can but without the tires going far (if at all) inside the wheel well. Price and all that crap isn't an issue, just looking for the best, or the next best thing for suspension. ANY help is GREATLY appreciated in building PIMPOS as I like to call her for now.
Forgot somethin', it's gonna run a B16A1 engine more than likely as it seems to be the easiest and most popularly done swap. Also looking for it to be street car, N/A, and handle turns like no other. Thanks again.
I have considered the B18, B16, and ZC engine. I considered B16 to be my best bet as far as future products and stuff. My top goal? HOPEFULLY to push about 300hp out of the engine (again, NA) and red at about 10K. I've heard it's possible via Mugen or JDM (slipped my mind, it's late at night) ecu and other mods. Unless you can talk me into something else...? I am open for change...as for the above post on the suspension, thanks for the advice/tip. I'm hoping for more, haha, I need all options...
A 300 hp street driven b16 is a rather high goal. Its possible, but for the price a turbo charged b18c is a better bet in my opinion. I understand that you want na, but unless you got mad cash, good luck. I would go b18c5 for na if I were you. My 2 cents. Ryan
