Friends b16a in Civic DX idles really low and dies when he gives it gas....Injector wiring?
Ok my friend has a b16a in his civic and he had to convert it to dual port to 4 injectors of course, and it barely started and when he gives it gas it dies. nobody seems to want to help him, I say its the injectors since he had to convert all that wiring. anyone else have a similar problem? if anyone can help contact him at TrUhOtBoY15 on aol AIM. thanks and he'd appreciate it.
BTW he said he doesnt get any codes either.

make sure he switched the 2 outer TPS wires, and also that all connectors are in the right spots

yeah that sounds like it could be your problem. Also check the two white-ish looking wires at the distributor also, but chances are if they were crossed it wouldnt even fire at all. Umm, oh and the wires leading to the resistor box could be crossed. But my money would be on the tps wires.

Check and make sure the map and tps plugs arnt swithed. Turn the key to on, and while the plug on the tps is plugged in check the voltage on it. it should be around .33-.43 then hold throttle wide open and it should read 3.4 or soming like that i cant member. If these numbers arnt right or I should say backwards switch the outside wires and retest. If you get a signal 0.0 then the plugs are prolly switched. Hope this helps.
i talked to him again, he said it ran fine for 2 weeks, then all of the sudden it took a **** on him. he thought it was the dizzy so he replaced that but it wasnt the problem.
Are the injector wires connected properly were they soldered on? I think he should recheck them.
