Ok i tried to search but it says ZC is too small of a word so here it goes, you only need the engine for the swap correct? I have a 91 si hatch and i'm planning on ordering one from hmotorsonline soon and just wanted to know what else will be needed. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

 

yes you just need the motor if you have a tranny. The zc is a better tranny though IMO.

 

If your still in the deciding stages take a look into throwing a turbo on to your existing motor........it can be done for a little more than your going to pay for that zc (if you have the time to piece together you own kit) and it can lay down some serious hp.

but yeah, as long as you have the dx or si tranny thats all you need. oh, you'll probably also need a distributor, thats one of the first things to go on the zc's (usually)

88-89 5 spd ecu or zc ecu is also better
