DA (92-93) front "Type R" style lip.... New
Disregard the messy looking car
, but we just picked up these new lips the other day and I decided to throw one onto my daily driver to see how it looks. Doesn't look too bad, as it's somewhat shaped similar to the USDM ITR lip but made to bolt on from underneath the bumper (in the stock mounting locations) rather than on the bumper like most Civic "Type R" style lips do. The lip is made of abs plastic, and I've already scraped it on the parking lot, but it's holds up just fine there's no visible marks on the lip.... I had to raise my car up a little bit (still need to more... 1 complete rotation on the GC's wasn't enough, but would've been on the Teins.... go figure).Fitment.... I give it an 8 or 9 out of 10. All of the holes lines up except for one that I had to trim with some cutters a little bit wider... no biggy, and it fit perfectly afterwards. Only downfall is that it sits a good 1.5 - 2 inches lower than the front bumper so ground clearance problems may cause an issue, but I haven't ran into anymore so far (and I drove around all over this morning). The lip comes white, so I sanded it down and put on 3-4 coats of flat black trim paint (not flat black bumper paint... I used that before on another lip and that **** sucks). But just thought I'd show you DA owners out there that there's a new lip for the 92-93 front bumpers.... 90-91 should be coming out early next year. They had a 90-91 rear bumper lip, so I'll probably test-fit that on my car next week for pics (my car is a 91... has a 92 front bumper).

My friend has a 93 Integra with the Wings West RS lip, and I think that looks like ***, IMO, because it sticks out too much. This one is more subtle and doesn't stock out like a mini-shovel, but that's to me... to others, it may look better. Here's another, not-so-good pic I took inside of the shop....
As for what type of abs, it's a harder abs but it's molded right and fits rather perfectly (at least the 4 others that I also test fitted did as well).

I got some pics earlier today at my friend's place. You be the judge, but to me, I still like the "Type R" style lip better as it's more subtle. If you get the WW RS lip, it doesn't look right unless you get the side skirts and rear bumper valence to match it (Mugen replica). With the WW RS lip, how it sticks out in front like that, my friend said that it's hard for him to tell where the concrete block in parking lots are half the time, as there's a couple of nics on the lip from that.

why are there no lips for the 90-91 bumper? it is just as popular, and in my opinion, better looking. besides the factory body kit, there is nothing else except homemade. come on, you only need to shorten it on the sides and you have one that will fit the 90-91 bumpers.
i have the rs lip now with the sides skirts.. but i think the R replica lip looks nicer.. about 4 year ago when i went lip shopping... i only found 2 worth my time... one was RS and the other inazuma. I wish i had more options back then
nice DA none the less
