Default crx body panels ( can they be replaced )

I have a 1988 crx hf with the back to fenders where they are known for rusting. can they be cut out and replaced or do I have to weld new metal in there place, or can I buy new fenders for the car to put in its place. Any help will be appriciated.

Default Re: crx body panels (hondasir1988)

you either need to do the bondo thing and get it painted, or you will have to cut and weld in new body panels - the back's of the crx's are all one piece - so there are no seems for panels, so to speak. your best bet is to take it to a shop and have it patched up and painted - that is what i did to mine, and you can't even tell the difference.
