Default Can I run my H23 engine using a JDM H22 ECU??

Can I hook up my H22 ECU so that I can drive my car around for a few days until I have my H22 installed?? The reason why I ask is because someone wants to buy my H23 ECU VERY SOON!!

It will prolly throw a code if you go above 5500 rpms as it will not see the proper sensors.

Also, it will have a higher fuel cut and prolly make you run a little lean.

Short answer, yes but don't go above 5500 and don't run it for too long.

It will defo throw a code or two but I doubt it will work without some major headaches!

how would it if there's no equipment to engage the vtec. it would be like sending the signal to nowhere.

LOL. I bet I have not take my car over 5500 20 times in my whole life outside of the track. I drive my car normally on the streets. lol

I am just looking to get my car from point A to point B for a few days.

If there is risk of messing up my H23 motor then I wont do it.

Thanks for the info.
