Damn that sucks. I was thinking it was like a one of a kind or something. I thought the guy worked for BFGoodrich and was selling these from like main headquarters or something. I guess I should have realized that was a no when I saw another one up for auction after I bought mine.

 

Yah it sucks......I know that people were auctioning the posters and charging a grip for them. When what they really were doing is buying them off the site and then directly shipping them to the buyer. The poster you receive comes in a tube that is not marked with any BFG logos or anything, so it was hard to tell. Oh well. Hope this gives a heads up to other Type R owners that are looking to get the poster or the banner. Go to the website...it's cheaper there.

I can guess,

They almost used Faisels (Speedpak) car but ACME studio who shot the ad didn't know the ITR only came in Championship White

Color has nothing to do with it, That was all done with lighting in the studio, not computer. The car was actually a silver GS with a LS/VTEC made to look like an ITR for the ad. Ask me how I know

During the shoot:



After it was hit in the rear and totaled: Also why I bought my ITR,



The photos where taken the spring of 1999, motor blew the weekend after, car was totaled 1 year later (hit at a redlight) bought the ITR June 2000

You're are a prime example of the "WHAT THE **** ARE YOU SAYING" club on this site. Congrats.

Fact is, the car in the BFG ad is Matt's old GS. It is NOT an ITR. Period.

 

New thing called computer enhancment

If you look very close at the left rear suspension mounting point you can see a white Tokico Illumina. Every ITR owner knows that the rear strut fits inside the rear lower control arm, making it not visible.

PS other things done with the computer, wheels where enlarge to 18", five lugs added, rear brake light in spoiler removed, side moldings removed, wheels look like they are spinning.

That's for just a poster, not the large vinyl banner.

 

Also in the poster you can clearly see that the exhaust isn't an ITR exhaust.

The ITR exhaust has the tip going all the way to the muffler, here you can tell it's an LS/GS/GSR exhaust tip cause it's attached.

Or what, what exhaust did you have on there for the shoot? It looks shiney...

I ordered the poster for 7.50 through them, and thought about ordering the banner too. Oh well, maybe I'll find another cool one to put up in the garage
