F22 crank pulley issues
I've discovered something intresting today, when trying to put belts back on the pulley. i was using a bar to push some plastic things out of the way by the crank, so that the belt would fit thru without any issues.. well the larger part of the crank moved, and i pushed it back and it basically fell off, showing some rubber under it. The smaller portion is still there, for the power steering. the rubber looked warn, which tells me that the metal portion of the pully has been slipping, which would account for my recent alternator issues... my question is, what is that rubber for, why is it there, and is the crank metal part suppost to just slide on and off like that? is this common? information along those lines would be great...thanks
Hey, in a few days i'll have my OEM crank pulley for sale. Its off of a 1993 Honda Accord 10th anniversary edition F22a. I ordered an aluminum crank pulley, so as soon as i get it on, the other one will be up for sale. Let me know.

Close, but not it. It's the harmonic damper. But in any case, the crank pulley SHOULD NOT be in TWO pieces. I'd either get aftermarket or OEM.

yeah, that happened on my old 4th gen from spraying N20 with the a/c on.
You will need another one, I reccommend pulling one off a scrapped accord since it runs about $200+ from the dealer.
