ok i work for a shop out here in atlanta georgia. our sister shop,Nirvana, is an award winning body shop, they won hottest body work at hot import nights this past july an some other shows. they have done the wide body black widow crx (its gold if any of you have seen it). now, they were looking for some new ideas an i mentioned to them that no one really makes front lip spoilers for the EF CRX an CIVIC HB. heres whats gonna happen, im giving them my front bumper to make the first mold an a local friend (JOHNZM) has been kind enough to donate his HB front bumper. they are going to make 3 different styles, 1)tsunami style (hardline an softline) 2) SPOON/MUGEN style 3) an a stock style that basically just hangs lower. they will all be fiberglass. NO CARBONFIBER(too expensive right now) now if i can get between 10-20 people interested, i can sell them for 150 (or under) for the first 20 people. after that it will be $200 plus shipping. I will have pics of the completed product on my car an JOHNZMS bumper before any orders are placed or filled, obviously. this will happen over the course of the next 3-4 weeks. these will be custom fit so there wont be any overhanging edges, etc. let me know if there is a demand for this so i can get them to speed up the process. thanks guys

yes abs plastic would be the way to go... lots of companies are offering the spoon and mugen styles for eg.dc.ek for nearly 40 bux each brand new... i just think it took way too long for some1 to come out with lips for the crx/civic... i would buy 1 if they if the price is less than 100 bux... if not, i would just get an eg (mugen or spoon) lip for 45 bux and fit it into the crx/civic

i just think that if some1 is going to make these lips.. they should be produce in a very large mass ... that way the prices would be lower than 100 bux ... and trust me they will sell really fast

groupbuys like this make me think twice about it since the production is going to be limited and prices are going to be high... talk to them about it ... and see diff options .. good luck

 

ok , yeah this is in the "baby" stages of development. i wasnt too keen on fiberglass either. this is what this thread is for. to see what you guys want. im serious about this, i dont want a body kit an i dont want to buy a wings west front or go through fitting an EG lip on. thanks for the input ill keep everyone posted.
