I didn't really prep the car, and I didn't repair any of the dents you may see in the pics, but I think it will do for now. I will be generous and post before pics. I do this beacause it reduce the amount of flaming that will occur in this thread. second I do not plan to place 3rd at HIN. Third I think it went well but could have came out better if I had the dents removed before sending it off to maaco.

actually I figured it out before I read your post, but thanks anyway. I try to do it that way instead of this resized peace of crap imagestation host.

need some better pics to be able to see the end result.....taking pics of a black car at night is one of the hardest things ever to do

Dam, that paint job came out pretty decent for $312.00

 

Trust me... You don't want to see up close pics of her. That dings on the doors will make any Car enthusiast cry... I meant any man cry for that matter.

Looking good, though I did like the stealhy paint before, radar bounces off of it...hehe.

I don't care how the paint holds up. I just wanted the negative attetion to cease. I will get it painted base and clear coat style later when I have to the money to let my friend take his time and do it to my liking.

By the way the color is supposed to be Berlina Black, but doesn't have any red sparkles in it. I think I got OWNED at maaco. doh!

 

Going there in april with a budget of 750-800. See what I can get and Im doing all the prep work myself throughout the winter

 

Glad to hear that. They painted the brand new fender perfectly, just that the rest of the car had a lot of blemishes with didn't turn out to good, but if I had prepped it... It would have come out sweet as hell.

 

looks good for 312...but if you are still going to repaint it i would have saved the 312 and waited to have it done all at once..but thats just me

 

not to sure how long it would have taken to wait. so this will do for know. I get paind every two weeks just like most people, so it would have taken a while to save up.

 

Its hard to tell with the pics if it really did come out well, but for 312 bucks what do you expect... hopefully it holds up awhile for ya

 

The turn around on the paint job makes me say holy crap when I saw it. ;}
