Well, today i replaced my distributor in hopes of fixing this jumping tach problem.. nope.. didnt work.. then i moved on and replaced my plugs and wires... i still have this bounce in my tach.. ive checked all my grounds and cleaned them all as well.. Ive even tried another ECU (pm6) and it still goofs up =-[... wwhat else can it be?!?

stock tach or aftermarket? Stock tachs are shitty and unacurate, so it could just be going bad, if its a aftermarket "Rice Bowl" then check your RPM pickup wire, make sure it's connected as close to the distributer as possible. also check that you have it set for a 4 cyl. car

 

my tach just doesnt bounce on its own... when my gauge reads tha i just dropped 500 RPM.. i can hear the engine drop 500 RPM.. Its not the tach..
