Ep Type S swap?
Getting ready to do a swap on a 2003 EP3 with a Type S Engine. I know the key emoblizer must be activated though a Honda dealer, but will the Type S engine run off of the EP3 ecu to just drive to the dealer and have the RSX ecu programed.
you CAN drive with the ep ecu......jsut keep the revs down below vtec... or just dont get on the gas above the half way point on the gas pedal stroke above 2200 rpms when the ep's vtec at 2/3rds throttle opens up vtec for engaugment...

It's worthless to use it (the EP3 ecu) for an
extended time, but Sport Compact Car used
it to get to an Acura dealer. Unless you're
driving 15+ miles on the highway, just putt
along and you'll be fine.
