hey i got a buddy who wants to build a reliable but still pretty fast b20/vtec for his ek hatch lemme know what u guys have done, also he doesnt wanna sleeve it

ok, go b20 with your choice of head...b16/17/18...go cams for some top end...and if you want bottom end..throw some pistons in there....if you want both..do both. Your choice...how much do you want to spend? Get a good clutch and flywheel too!!

stock b20z bottom, stock b16 head, and throw some itr cams or so in it

my old set up.... stock b20 block, milled down gsR head (40- off), skunk2 MANI+
STAGE 2 cams w/gears, JG tb (64mm), JDM DC 4-1 header...
simple, reliable, and strong it....

not to get too far off topic fellas, but what all do they have to do to mill the head? jus curious, thought about doing it on my b16 head, LS bottom.....i know about pistons mashing the valves etc, but is it heavy on the pocketbeezy...

they probably disassemble your head, then they shave of the bottom to make it shorter. (higher compression)

i dont know what the machine looks like. i just know that's what milling is

word, i was just wondering how much it costs, but just have to call them when theyre open on monday......

dvsEF, what pistons do u have in your set up?

edit-Oh nvm missed the stock b20 block part

i used the PHK pistons.. (B20Z) in the old set up...
now im using the JE 12.5:1 85mm slugs in it now
