Brakes 4 my 'ReX
The stock brakes on my CRX are crap! I heard that brakes from a '90 to '93 teg should fit my car so i'll probably get some from a junkyard. My question is how should i go about it? Can i just slide on the rotors and bolt on the calipers? will they fit or should i use the teg spindles and try to bolt up the whole assembly? control arms? ?...?...??? what about the teg master cylinder?
yah just get the entire knuckles w/ calipers from a junkyard for 50 a set, get autozone rotors for 21 bucks each, a 91 civic ex 15/16ths master cylinder from autozone for 50 bucks, get some AEM/Nissin carbon kevlar brake pads or axxis ultimates for 50 bucks, 10 dollars for some new brake fluid and another 50 dollars for an alignment after you are done with the job and HOLY ****, you have a TOP OF THE LINE braking system.
so for $250 out the door you have a braking system that is the BEST bang for the buck.
Alot of retarded idiots say that you get alignment problems, no you dont. Ive used ABS and non-ABS knuckles for installs and they all work perfect, always have no allignment problems.
