OT: Can someone illustrate and ore explain the TZURU design as per Spoon sports?
I'm not sure and am only speculating but is the TZURU design on the Spoon cars that swan looking thing? "I dunno it looks like a swan to me."
If not what is the design on the car and,
if still not then what is the design of?
Thanks, just pondering some JDM stuff,

Hrm, i still don't see it. Is it a perspective shot? is the curve the black or the white, or the line between them?
hehe...my mom sees the bat-man logo and thinks it's a shark's mouth, maybe i'm spoon-illiterate!

Again, much appreciated,

I love spoom wheels. Would like to know what Tsuru means though in english.
I wish stickers would stick to my car, they just don't and fall off, seriously.

I should base my arguement of spinning out and stalling at the auto-x b/c of limited vision, that would be perfect.
I had the top up, windows up, with the car's # on the side windows, I couldn't see ****... and to top it all off, I was wearing a rediculous helmet. I need to invest some $$$ in a nice helmet and some magnetic numbers. gotta love the zaino though.

Urm.. NO. Even though it does look like a crane, it's a curve with a car on it. Spoon is a type of curve like a chicane or esses. Spoon Sports is named after the curve at the Susuka (sp) circuit in Japan and the sticker represents just that.
tsuru=crane (bird)
no such thing as a tzuru...."tzu" is not japanese

I think you guys are reading way too much into it... it is a crane. Sure, maybe the curves of the crane's neck and back represent the curves of a track or canyon road - and Spoon is named for the Spoon curve at Suzuka - but still, it is a crane.
Bored, arent you, Anton.
So did you have a noise free drive home?--Thanks for all the advice yesterday--Only got to the hood, but it doesnt seem to matter--Its gooan pour today anyway!---D'oh!!!

Maybe everyone saying it looks like a crane is reading too much into this. I don't see the crane, just a curvy road with a car. Where's the wings if it's a crane?

Inlinefour has a great picture of it on there web site. Look under the Spoon S2000's on the front page.
The Japanese crane is also called the Red-Crowned Crane...

Thanks for the response guys, this has turned out to be quite a debate. I've only seen the symbol form a distance and in some small PICS so I thought it looked like a swan or even a crane, "it still vaguely looks like a bird," But, I actually think that now is looks like a twist or turn in a road off in the distance with the RED sun setting or Rising, Remember the Rising Sun symbol of Japans national flag?
Keep this going cause I wat to know the REAL answer, does anyone know any Japanese friends or anyone actually in Japan witht he answer?
And sorry if I spelled it incorrectly I could see it spelled TSURU as well, I got the spelling off of R&D motorsports site.
Thanks,
A.
