i have a 2000 civic si and i want to run 13's what should i do to the motor.

put it in a lighter car??? hehe j/k cams, header,head work... still dont kno if you could go 13s cuz of the weight of your car... might have to build the bottom end

maybe i should swap in a b20 bottom end or a ls vtec so what should i do to the short block.

i/h/e, get some low comp pistons, and a big nitrous injection.

i have a friend with the same car and was able to go low 13's with out a problem with and LS/Vtec setup... i think he might even be going high 12's now
