ok i got a car and i need to get the lights checked out by the dmv (salvage title). i need to know the orientation of the front lights. there are the two front amber lights and there are two side marker type lights. do the front amber ones, stay lit when headlights are on and blink, or do they stay lit and the side lights blink. please help me, and yes i am gonna get manual very soon.

 

The front ambers only blink, they do not stay on with the headlights. There are "parking" lights inside the headlight housings in addition to the headlight bulbs. The sidemarkers come on with the parking lights, and do not blink.

oh and on this topic, do you think dmv cares about the side running lights?

 

i dont think they should care about the side lights cause you can argue that the dc2 integras dont have side lights...but however they will tell you since the bumper have side markers...they are suppose to be lit
