You know the feeling of a car running out of gas? Shaking, pausing, kindalike the redline feeling when the revmeter canot go more and the car shakes?

That is what I am feeling every once in a while when I am reaching 3000RPM on 4th 5th gear.... I have actually felt it in lower gears too but I am on a highway most of the time.....
It will not happen for 3-4 days and then it will occur again. At first I thought I had water in my gas since it only happened once at first....

The same exact problem appeared on my 90 laser turbo 4 years ago and It was the fuel filter...

I did change the fuel filter 20K miles ago and I have new spark plugs and new wires...

anyone wants to take a shot?

 

sounds like it is fuel related. maybe try running some injector cleaner through it..they could be dirty..

 

has it done this in bad weather? Was it raining or very damp right before this happened / is happening? My first guess after fuel related would be something electrical...

 

Well the car was covered in snow for a few days and it has been wither raining or snowing....

I think I am going to sell it now before something else happens....

I am not connected with the car anyway.
