I've been following the uberdata threads and have purchased a burner which I have gotten to work. My FTL worked when burning chips and the VTEC engagement worked also but I was getting a CEL and when I tried to check the CEL I got nothing. I was wondering if somebody could give me a rundown on what exactly they do before burning with the willem burner?

 

I use one this is all I do:

Find what .bin youre gonna use
Open Ver 97g of the Willems software
Open the .bin file from the Willems program
Jump pins 3 & 31 with a small piece of wire on the burner
Insert chip (select chip in software that youre using)
Erase chip (You may not HAVE to do this, it should do it automatically)
Write chip
