H22A CARB BAR Legal Street Legal Anyone Out There? Make this the thread here.
Hi! Anyone with an H22A Civic or H22A Integra, I would like to know what your setups are and any problems that came up.
In particular... I want to know if there is anyone out there w/ a BAR Sticker on a 96+ Civic.
I have a 1995 Honda Civic w/ H22A right now, but I would like a nice street legal car in California. I've seen quite a few BAR Stickers on OBDI cars, but none on an OBDII car.
Anyone out there by any chance w/ a Type S Motor in a 96+ Civic/Integra and a BAR Sticker?

I've seen it on a website somewhere, I've been looking for like 20 minutes; however I can't find it again. But yes, I saw it legal.

Alright, well, I couldn't find it, but I have seen the damn sticker. So as for your question, YES there are some out there.

I still see no proof. I've seen quite a few on a 92-95 Civic or 94-95 Integra (OBDI cars), but have yet to see anyone say w/ hard proof or show one on a 96+ car.

you can with a 96 prelude ECU, it doesnt have an immobilizer...
But supposedly alot of ref's arent even checking the ECU's anymore.
The whole issue is getting that 96 obd2 ecu

You should be able to pass. Your going to need to hook the EGR up. Make sure you get a quality name cold air intake like AEM, and then a very good catalytic converter.
