Default CRX Dash into a 90 civic...

Well I've been working on this car for a few days.. Getting ready to give it to my younger brother for christmas.. I have one problem.. The lights in the dash do not work, also the cluster does not work, and when I put on the turn single, the engine light go's on and off. Someone please help me out.. I need to fix this.. Also if anyone have any pics of crx dash into a 90-91 civic please post them.. It would help me alot..
Thanks

LMAO!!!!

Sounds like you got some wires flipped.... I like the flashing engine light tho

I did this swap last summer, it was plug and play. I think the cause of your problem is a disconnected plug in the back of the guage cluster. I know that if one of the 2 is not connected properly you'll get all sorts of weird things gooing on on the cluster....like the temp guage hitting max ASAP and so on.

Read my above post

Its completely plug and play.

You'll have to change 1 mount on the stereo holder thing (the mount to the floor, you need the crx mount)

I gathered that...what do you mean by turned down???

You mean how it faces or that it should be on the low position?

We're talking about gauge clusters here, right? If so, for the cluster to be plug and play, it has to also be out of a 90-91 civic si or any 90-91 crx. If your cluster is from an 88-89, I'd say just sell it and find a 90-91 just to avoid more problems. Good luck with it either way though.
