Well I got some interesting info for everyone. As some others including myself just found out, the Spoon Rotors and StopTech calipers will not fit perfectly with the each other. In order to make them fit, you have to add a shim to each caliper to push the Spoons out a bit. However this makes them closer to the rim, but not enough to cause problems. When I first popped the Spoons on, my semi-used R4S pads wouldn't fit. Only one side would fit on each caliper would fit. So we grabbed some chims that were laying around and popped them in. On on side this fixed it, but on the other side, the pads seemed a little to tight for comfort. So we shaved a few thousands off of the metal backing on one of the R4S's. This time it did the trick. After bolting it all up and doing the break fluid, the brakes ended up feeling great! Damn I love them. Its amazing how much lighter these babies are. In total I lost around 20lbs just from getting new calipers and rotors! Not bad
The down side to all this is, even with semi-worn pads they still had trouble fitting in. I can't wait till its time to get new pads! How will that work? On thing is that I will send the stoptech's back to stoptech and have them resurface them which should give me enough clearence.
Anyway, here's the picture's:

The rest of the Spoon stuff is going on later as needed. Oh yeah, the dark blue lug nuts are Spoon and the light blue wheel lock nut is from Enikie. Yeah the Enikie nut match's the Spoon brakes and the Spoons do not! lol

LOL their colors are not supposed to match to begin with!!! :D
...Nice...did you get the H caps when ya in japan?
Oh yea you don't really need aggressive brake pads with those calipers...even with stock pads you can stop in no time.

both sides. And yes the pads were from my old brakes. I just put them on after the expo because I had no pads left.
Cool set up...but here's the $1900 (approximate cost of the Spoon Calipers and StopTech brakes) question for those thinking about going down this route: Why?
When you can get something like the FastBrakes setup? To the tune of $800...(at least from the last FastBrakes post).
Or, alternatively you can spend just about as much for a set up from APRacing?
Brembo may have a setup but it will be slightly more expensive (a custom set up)...
All 3 systems mentioned above fit under stock rims, are 4 piston calipers, 2 piece rotors and have a sightly larger rotor. Not to mention the critical point of the calipers being actaully rebuildable--where as I have not seen any information regarding the availibility of rebuild kits for the Spoon calipers.
Just something to think about...

Mike (Rboosted717) - I have a silly question, but with the Spoon calipers do you get ABS to kick in earlier than stock or is there virtually no ABS kick-in since they slow-down the car better? (Or, did you take off the ABS already?) Thanks.
The advantage to using the Spoon calipers over the Wilwoods (Fastbrakes) is that there is more surface area of the pad with the Spoons considering that they are still using a stock pad (dimensions that is...). The Willwood caliper is a much smaller unit, therefore will utilize less surface area to stop the same sized vehicle.
This is similar to what I experience with my AP setup; I have less surface area of the pad, so I would not say my stopping ditances are that much greater. However, my deep braking control is greatly improved. Also, it will bring me down from high speeds much cleaner than the stock system.
I would suspect that this setup (Spoon, Stoptech) will actually generate shorter braking distances than any other system using a smaller caliper, smaller pad.

Have anyone know any information about the Endless full brake set up with their calipers, pads, rotors, and brake line? Will they bolt right on with 15' rim?
ILOVERACING: the StopTech rotors are 25mm thick, which is 2mm thicker than the 23mm ITR rotors the Spoon calipers were made for. The only StopTech application is the one that's already been mentioned, at 25mm. The ITR rotor should fit perfectly in between the Spoon calipers, but the StopTech is a 2-piece floating rotor, whichis supposed to be better at preventing lockup.
mafay2: the Endless kit uses a 11.1" rotor also. The caliper's close to the size of the Spoon, so they should fit under 15" wheels...tho, it would depend on what type of wheel (basically, don't choose a wheel with a deep lip if you want big brakes inside). The Spoons won't even fit under a lot of 17's if the 17" wheels have a deep lip. The Endless caliper's actually about a pound or pound and a half ligther than the Spoon caliper. I'm not sure on pad size differences tho. HTH.
If I had the money, I'd definitely go for the Spoon/StopTech setup...tho, that's more than $1900..at least if you buy them in the states ($1800 Spoon calipers + $500 StopTech rotors = $2300). Brembo has a 12" 1-piece rotor setup w/ 4-pot calipers for something like $1600 or so (can't remember the exact price)...which should fit under 16" wheels (dunno about 15" tho).

ABS and everything works fine right now. Its amazing at how much pressure and stoppage they have. I love speeding up, then hitting the brakes to see how quick they will stop the car! lol
However I need to replace my brake master because I think the inside seal has been busted for a long time now.

Honestly I feel that the initial pedal feel of these calipers are worse than stock. But when you press the brake pedal harder, it would be a great difference.
Mike or anyone who has Spoon brakes, just FYI. If you ever wanna get 15x6.5 TE37, you would need a 10mm (~1/4") spacer to clear those brakes.
