OWNER OF 10.88 B16 HATCH
SORRY IF MY FRIEND OFFENED ANYONE BY POSTING MY TIMES AND MOTOR SET UP. I RAN MY CAR 2X THAT DAY. THE FIRST PASS I LAUNCHED IT LOW TO SEE HOW IT REACTED TO THE GROUND AND JUST DROVE IT TO THE END OF THE TRACK. IT WENT 1.936 IN THE 60, 5.240 IN THE 330, 7.7O8@102.44 IN THE 1/8, IT RAN 11.504@131.68 AND TO MY SUPRISE TIME SLIP HOMMIE DIDNT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT NOT HAVING A CAGE OR JACKET. ON THE SECOND PASS THE TRACK OFFICAL SAID IT WAS MY LAST PASS OF THE DAY, SO I LANCHED IT HIGHER AND DIDNT LIFT, IT WENT 1.728 IN THE 60, 4.703 IN THE 330,7.138@103.30 IN THE 1/8, AND 10.882@132.81 IN THE 1/4. what are u using to control fuel and timing? injector size? Do u know that power your puttin out? How much does the car weigh? What's your setup?
for fuel(c12) im using a fields sfc, ---cc injectors, msd inline pump(43gph),fuel pres reg(not boost dependent)with about 40lbs on vacum, nothing to complicated, the motor loads up a little in the mid range, but when u step in to it it cleans up and pulls hard to 10grand, for timing its at 15 degrees advance at idle im running a p28/w mugen program, (total timing u do the math), i dont know why people think its crazy to run alot of timing in a turbo motor, timing=hp,run as much as u can till u hear the head rattle,dont be scared, running 18-20lbs of boost on cast pistons isnt safe but can be done, by keeping the tune up rich it might last a while,so far ive got about 20 passes on the street and 2 at the track,

I thought your budy was the one from the other post and he was the owner but any way. Saw you there on saturday makeing the 10.88 pass and I give you props and Might I add you have some ***** to run with out a cage.

timing also equals detonation.. dunno if i'd want to do that to my motor.

it was an orange crx (drag car) it went in the 10s im not sure how deep thought, but i havent seen that car in years,they have a DA integra that ran 10.95@13O something, paulus from aebs told me it was an 86x89 ls vtec turbo on a 40 shot, that car moves, i was at carlsbad when they ran the 95 pass, ive got nothin but respect for thoughs guys and how they have helped our sport, but right now my 10.88 is the fastest in SD and im down to run for thoughs bragging rights

you must be the best tuner in the USA!! taking a stock b16a with 20lbs of boost on a mugen chipped ecu with just a fields and injectors all the way up to 10,000 RPMS

Wow. 1.7 must be the worst 60' I've ever seen on a car that runs 10's. I guess when you can't launch, it's good to have a car that traps 130+. You won't be winning any 1/8th bragging rights anytime soon, but that's a LOT of power you must be making.
Congrats on the times... It doesnt seem like you guys are Honda-tech regulars.
