can't get bolts off

i can't get the bolts off my valve cover. they aren't stripped but when i try to screw them off they just keep turning. what do i do? HELP please!

Are you turning them the right way? Did you try to turn them when the engine was hot? They could have snapped.

what happend is that your turning the studs that go into the head instead of the nut

just undo the rest of them, then do the ones that are stuck....the valve cover will come off...and u will see the studs are still on from underneath the valve cover

just take the studs out with another wrench put them back in the head with some loctite
