Default Debt and ITR's

Okay guys, i've always loved ITR's and I finally think i'm going to buy one(if I can find one). but before I put myself into debt, i'd like to know what everyone here is paying for monthly payments on their ITR's. I was quoted at 150 a month for insurance under my parents name and i'd like to know if that is OK or not. I'd be putting around 6-7k down on it so that'll help a lot.
Thanks in advance to all who choose to help!

don`t forget to include the cost off maintence,(dealer prices suck). had the dealer service the car, under the warranty peroid. now that warranty is over i do the maintence myself. shop to work in for free, whenever helps(thank red). and don`t forget tires.
as per debt this is the best fun you can have for a reasonable amount off debt

about $400 for insurance and car payment

*Were* ridiculous. I sold it

I borrowed 20 large on a four-year loan, so the payments were a bit high.

Real debt begins when you modify it...

I float between 4-6.5K on c.c

who's with me???

Insurance, Payment, Interest is just the begining

Mods, maintenence, tickets, are the other half.

Its an endless money pit, but we do it because we love it

With $2000 down, I pay $408.62 a month for three and a half more years. I bought it about six months ago. Insurance in my name (19 years old) is $122 a month and I devote all of my spare cash to the car one way or another so I don't mind paying.

My payments were $710/month + $100/month insurance.
This is ruffly what you will pay if you want to pay it off in 3 years.

There's only 3 available forsale at the only dealer in the nation who has them. I tried to buy the yellow one but they won't budge from 23k. There was 1 more forsale in Illonios and it was on ebay but it's sold. Here's the link for that dealer if your interested, you might beable to get a better deal than I was told.

As you can see it can either go pretty cheap to the extreme. I pay 512 a month for a car payment and $300 on car insurance. Of course I have a long bad driving record and not alot of credit so I got stuck with a pretty high interest rate. Oh well its a fun car.

i can't believe the payments some of you guys have!
for $150-$200/m you could have an EG,and put all the good ITR stuff into it for less than half the price of an ITR total invested.not to mention paying insurance on a cheap, economy car ....and it'd roll an AAR
i'm on the wrong forum to post this

Two words "extended warranty". All I can say is that I used mine. If I had an eg with a Type R engine when mine blew up I would have been out some serious money I didnt/dont have.

i definately see your point.but,on the other hand, that's a lot to pay for an extended warranty.the price difference between an ITR and it's insurance over an ITR/EG will more than pay for a couple backup engines....
barring freak occurance,any well-maintained engine should last a long time...unless you're Chad

Resale value, insurance value, etc. Plus nice hybrids are not much cheaper than a 97/98 ITR. ****, just a used ITR motor/tranni is $5k. Thats almost 1/3 the cost of an entire ITR. Add in the cost of the civic, wheels, suspension, seats, exhaust, etc and you havent saved much.
