Default Looking for educated guesses on my projected WHP.

DEFINITE
-11:1 compression TypeS pistons oversized .25
(with floating wristpins= more hp )
-crower stage 2 cams with retainers/springs
-port and polished
-valve job
-balance roatating assembly
-cam gears, with tuned VAFC, (with obd2 workaround)
-2.5" race cat

PLANNING
-midpriced header
-Apexi World Sport cat back
-possible 50 shot of nitrous

1997 SH. OK guys, I have absolutely no clue. I'm trying to decide on connecting rods and also for my own curiosity. I do not have plans do go any further with the engine.

What do you think my whp will be? how much will the last three things add?

I know these can't be exact figures, so I appreciate any thoughts or comments. Thanks!

-Alberto

to me that seems like 240 to the wheels w/ n2o. 190 w/o n2o. that is not being optimistic.

^^ yeah, san marino red is NICE. I edited with car info, it's a '97 SH.

looks like I'll be sticking with Honda rods bushed to S spec. with numbers that low, even $310 eagle's don't make sense.

thanks again guys...

Go with a high end header, such as SMS, and a full 2.5" exhaust, and I bet you will break 200 easy.

If you get a free flowing header and exhaust ala not the WS and a nicely designed header your loooking at prolly like 200ish to 210.

My exaust has to be quiet. The WS seems to be the only choice. And hopefully a well designed header will fall into my lap. Hey it could happen.

hahaaha. If you want the most power outta your set up you should get one of those electronic cut outs so when you gun it, its like open header and when you dont it stays flowing through the ws muffler.
