Prelude seats?
Bolsters! I need bolsters! Despite my '95 Accord EX-R Coupe's negligible body roll, my Accord seats don't provide enough lateral support to the G-forces of curvy roads and interstate onramps. So, I was thinking about replacing my front seats with Prelude seats... will they fit? Will the seat height be the same? Are the seat rails the same size? And, can the leather be dyed to match my interior?

i bought a pair of 4th gen ('93) prelude seats for my 5th gen ('97) accord coupe. my friend and i got the seats in by doing some cutting and welding of the seat brackets to get them to fit right. the inside seat rail bolts up prettly close (you have to bend the front foot out a little bit, and drill a new hole in the rear plate). but the outside is off the stock accord holes by more than an inch. for the front we welded a plate on the prelude seat foot to reach the stock hole. the rear outside foot on the prelude seat is flat, on the accord it's bent down at about a 45° angle. so, we bent the foot, and then also welded a plate on to reach the stock hole. it's 10x better than the stock accord seat, and the seat isn't off the centerline of the steering wheel by a noticeable amount (one of my concerns while doing this). if you have the tools and ability, its a great upgrade.
and the ITR seats won't bolt up either. they'd bolt up in a civic, though.
