Who can tell me about two-stage nitrous???
I would like to install a nitrous system on a 3rd gen Lude Si. I like the safety features of the Zex. But I will need a window switch to control the N2O activation points, some kind of ignition timing controller, and I need to limit the amount of N2O in first. I want to run no more than 25 shot for first gear, and then halfway through 2nd I would activate the 65-75 shot.
The problem is I don't know jack about two stage systems and if all that will even work with a zex system. I do know Zex only gives you a 55, 65, and 75 jets, so right there is a problem of finding a 20-25 jet. It's a traction issue. So some one who knows about this could you please enlighten? Thanks

A two stage nitrous setup is pretty much just two nitrous kits installed...
I reccommend you don't use a dry kit. Even for the first stage 25shot..
All you have to do is run a 25shot wet, and then have a direct port/Nozzle/nxl/plate/or whatever 75shot as the second stage. You can also look into a NOS progressive nitrous controller or Nitrous Express' equivalent system. Also for your ignition timing, hondata offers a nitrous control system which gives you a second map that you can switch to when your on nitrous..also remember a fuel pressure cutoff switch, colder plugs, stainless steel exhaust valves, and an msd window switch will all help you keep your motor intact! Good luck.
