Default Best place to find K20A motor?

I'm looking into swapping a K20A into a EG hatch. Looking for the best place to find the motor? I found it at jdmhondaparts.com, and passwordjdm.com. Anywhere else? Thanks!

I have to say as far as your motor choice

Augh Auch Choospendingtomuchdamnmoneyonworthlesshypeoo

Unless you get the new ITR motor the old 98 spec will be faster. And even if you get the 96 you could spend the same as just the k and have a rock solid motor that will have more power than you can afford in tires.

Are you looking for the a or the a2? You can pick up a2's on ebay for $3000 or so if you are patient. Talk to k2Oeg, he knows his **** and might be able to hook you up.

i can get you a k20a2 with 7k miles for about 3500.... talk to either me or k20eg... I also carry k20eg's/hybrid-racings entire swap kit for the eg.... it will be about 6k installed... imo the k20a2 has just as much potential if not more than the k20a and the mileage is guaranteed

http://www.hmotorsonline.com is the best place to get a Honda engine. They guarantee that all the sensors will be intact and working. I keeping hearing about people getting engines from other people and having to replace the TPS sensor. I have heard nothing but good things and good prices from http://www.hmotorsonline.com

I'll be doing the build/swap for Albert (B18C1EKhb) once we get everything straight so I'm not really worried about that... Thanks for the option spoonfed95 but I personally hate hmotorsonline.com and I'm sure Albert wouldn't go for them... My other friend Mike (jdmDXrex) got his B16A from them a couple years ago and after I installed it it lasted ~3 months... The thrust washers fell out (how often do you see a thrust washer fall out) and destroyed the crank, block, and pistons... My other friend TC (Rukkus233) bought his original GSR from them about a year ago for his EH2, I ended up not putting it in because when it came time to swapping the t-belt and water pump I found the block was cracked at the driver side upper motor mount (they used an impact gun to shoot some oversized bolts in, and had I not pulled off the t-belt covers that motor would have gone in... They tried to charge him a 35% restocking fee which he wouldn't pay and they finally ended up taking the motor back and refunding his money... It was just a pain in the *** and I hope that we won't run into these problems with a K20A or A2 for Albert... Anyone know if RS sleeves K series motors yet? Thanks

"I think it can put out atleast 300whp"

It probably could make 10,000,000,000 whp and launch you into orbit with a solid rocket booster which makes about as much sense as blowing well over 10k to reach a number that is uterly useless on the street. Unless you normally drive at 11Krpm and never drop below 7k because that will likely be the powerband on a motor like that.

Don't worry about it, we drive 500-600-700whp+ turbo motors on the street all the time, it's not that big of a deal... Maybe if you're stabbing on it everywhere but I don't think that's going to be happening...

Well sure 300whp isn't going to hook up very good at all with all the torque one of those motors puts out, buuuuut it is mainly for the track and to shut stupid ppl up that think they have a fast car. I'm not saying that I will beat everyone that comes my way or even most of them, but I think a stock or built K20 in a EG will do just fine.
