Need info...
I just swapped to a H22A. after the swap, my oil light keeps coming on and off. I have no clue on what to do and the shop has no clue either. They check everything, etc... My car is okay on oil so I don't know what the problem is. Did anyone have this problem?
what year car, and motor? i know the plug for my oil sending unit on the Accord was different then the prelude, i didn't want to use my Accord oil sending unit, so i put the prelude plug on the Accord wiring harness. Have you chedk your oil level?
My top speed is governed by the JDM Ecu to 109 respectivly, Japan has small roads, no need for a car to go any faster. 0-60, i have not clue, 1/4 mile, i went a 15.1 @93mph on street tires. the car was pretty much stock. This is at 3k above sea level, and my first time at the track w/ the new motor.
If I may chime in here... I don't particularly like drag racing so I've yet to run the quarter mile, but I lapped a 2000 Stang GT at Jefferson Circuit (1.1 mile circuit, 7 turns) over 10 laps (yeah that's more driver than car, but I was realing him in on the straits, all motor). Yeah my car's far from stock in that it's got a Prelude engine, but all it's got is intake, header, and exhaust. Feels great to pull on V8 sports cars.
well...if all your wireing we are assuming is ok, i would either look for an intermitently shorting sensor, or pull the pan down and see if the seal on the pick-up is good or even if it is clogged at all. It's been a long while since i have seen the oil light come on in a honda, new one for me.
