EG Civic - Leather Interior
I had seen this picture in a magazine a little while ago, and I thought it was kind of cool. I was considering maybe doing something similar to my interior (black instead of grey though). I would only be doing the seats and the door panels if anything. I think I would leave the headrests all black. It reminds me somewhat of a RX8 interior.
I was just looking to get some other people's thoughts about it before I go ahead and do it. Just plain honest opinions is what I am looking for.

Thanks

just get it wrapped in REAL black leather would be nice through </TD></TR></TABLE>
It's not ugly if it matches the car. I would rather get black leather, but whatever floats your boat

That car has monkey bars in it, if that doesn't tell you about the kind of people that have multi colored interior I don't know what does. If you want leather get some leather GSR or S2K seats. I have black leather S2K's in my car and they are dope.
Alright, you got me. I knew they were vinyl, it said in the magazine, I just didn't think everyone would notice so quickly. For the most part I was just talking about the color scheme throught the car. My EG is getting painted EBP as we speak and I would pick out a blue to match that (which might be kinda hard because of the pearl) but yeah! It is either that... (in the picture) or all black. Maybe even just the door panels in the blue and the seats in the black might work. For sure leather though... not vinyl!
What do you think?!

Please dont just do the doors. IMO it looks ghetto. At least do the whole thing if you do it.

That screams 1996. 2 tone interiors are horrible. If you want some leather seats get some out of a integra and bolt them in. It will be more cost effective and you will still be able to drive your car until the seats are done.

my suggestions
1) keep stock
2) put blue SUEDE or cloth inserts similair to the type R scheme
3) wrap whole interior in leather or european vinyl( its the stuff mercedes and porsche use, hard to tell its not leather)
4) wrap seats in black suede, with blue stiching
whatever you do i wouldnt do the 2 tone seats, people have moved away from that even on the show scene, and are going suede, or more of a race type theme. i prefer to do it clean like european cars or high end cars and just pick one nice material to use throughout the car.
just some suggestions

That is one that someone else had done. Katzkin is leather (you can get suede inserts in the center... but I am not sure if that is how I want to go.) I was thinking about Black on the sides and blue perferated leather in the centre. Either that or all black with blue stitching. I think the picture looks pretty good myself.
