Default obd2 ecu or obd1 ecu?

Im trying to decide between a p72 ecu or a skunk 2 obd2 to obd1 harness with a p28 or p30. i have a b16a in my 96 civic, and was wondering which would give me the best performance. if you guys could tell me which are the pro/cons of each would be very helpfull. thanks

Default Re: obd2 ecu or obd1 ecu? (fatalman)

anyone will tell u obd1 is better! less restricted and re-acts better to modification also easier to chip. u don't need a P72 w/ a B16. P72's are mainly for the GSR, to open up the secondary butterflies in the IM. Go w/ the P28 or P30 easier to find, and CHEAPER!
