replaced transmission on accord
I just replaced my son's transmission, flywheel and clutch/pressure plate.. Sure it was hell work to put back the tranmission as I worked from under the car on my back and lifting and trying to align trans onto shaft - my arm are shot now with my hands full of scrapes. I say MF to the car but glad it is over and it ran with smooth shifting..
Got the trans from junk yard for $75 and when opened it - to my surprise it was totally rebuilt with all new gears and bearings. could not do any better than this.
but putting trans back onto the car on my back is M.. F..
just to vent my frustration. My 17 yrs old son is happy and i am in sh.. shape. I am 49 yrs old balding for your info...

Thanks, Showgunz. I do appreciate it as you know how it is.
Now I am O.K. and back to routine and enjoying Christmas (just finished my xmas shopping last night).
Again, thanks.
