My brothers s2k is getting a really bad tranny grind. We're about to replace the fluid with FM syncromesh, but someone had told him that the Helms manual has instruction for lengthening the clutch pedal linkage, and that a lot of the problem is the clutch isn't completely disengaged when the pedal is all the way down. So when you lengthen the linkage, the clutch will become fully disengaged and the tranny will stop grinding so much. Has anyone done this, or have the s2k helms manual you could check for this?
