Default driver side speakers softer?

i dont know why my driver side speakers are softer than my passenger side. i played the balance and fader to check each speaker but still the driver side sounds softer. Could it be the wiring?

I had the same problem back in the day that I couldn't track down for the life of me. I rewired the whole thing and now it sounds good.

well it could be a number of thigns, but some of the things that come off the top of my dome peice are.. wires are to small for the speakers.. not enough current is going to the terminals.. another is that maybe it could be just as simple as ur damn legs in the way, cuz i know i can hear my passanger speaker like its right up besides my skull and cant hear anything from the driver.. but when i move my leg over to the left, i can hear it pretty good, but never as good as the passanger speaker cuz its usually free unless someones occuping that seat...
