Default Where to start?

Ok guys, these is mroe of a general question. As a new Teg owner, and this being my first 4 cylinder performance car, I have a few questions for you junkies out there.

1: I want to build up my GSR for minor drag and of course street encounters. With my other 2 V8 cars, a Mustang and a Camaro, I simply took the theory of "start on the ends and work in" as in exhasut, headers, intake, MAF, TB, etc. I assume this is a good theory to apply to my GSR as well. What is a good order of mods to buy so that I can see maximum horsepower from idle to redline, with a strong emphasis on mid range?

2:Once the intake, header and exhaust is done, where to next? I know that tuning is a must, but should I jump striaght on a Hondata sytem, or go VFAC?

My main goal is to jst build up the car for street use, until our garage is build and I can rip the motor down and prep it for turbo. With this in mind, what is a good route to go? I am a college student, funds are limited, But I am able to save money for important, nice, expensive stuff.

My plans so far include my first mod being a J's racing short ram CF intake with a K&N filter swap, followed by a Type 1 racing 2.5 inch cat back, 2.5 inch high flow cat, and a Toda header. Any suggestions, corrections, or other input is welcome, as long as you are contributing to my post Thanks guys

If those are your current plans, don't change a thing! That's a great setup. After those mods, I would look into some suspension tuning. Those bolt-ons with a decent suspension setup would make for a very fun car.

Unsung that is my thinking. I am not so serious as to rip out interior pieces to lighten up the car, I would say you hit the nail on the head. I want a fun car, good to drive, quick, and nice looking.

I think though I am going to go with the icebox instead of the J's intake. DO you guys recomend a VAFCII, because I hear they are great, and I should wait till I get some serious mods (cams, IM, TB, and such) to get Hondata so I am not constantly paying for tuning.

I wouldn't worry about the VAFC at this point. It's virtually useless unless you have a handheld wideband or dyno w/wideband access.
