WTF? is EXACTLY what went through our heads yesterday when this kid comes passing through lookin for a car club.. well this kid come through with a 4dr teg..we saw Type R logos all in the appropriate places so we tried to call his bluff. but as we looked closer, the engine code was B18C5 and the info sticker inside the driverside door said Type R??? never knew acura made these and if they did, it would be in japan which would make it rh driver right? but it wasnt.. can someone enlighten me please. and the car was Type R white whatever color code that is. i have a 4dr GSR but never seen this.. ive been goin nuts since yesterday..

Sure, they made an ITR sedan in Japan, but not in the US. The door moldings are gone and shaved. As for the B18C5, anyone can buy an ITR motor and swap it in and get a VIN plate riveted onto their car.

Yup, only 4 dr ITR's in Japan. Also if the engine said B18C5 it wasn't a JDM ITR as all ITR motors are labled B18C.

yup, seen that car all over..

and the sick thing is...all he did was the cwest front bumper and the eyeliner (body wise)...

for us, we'd have to add the seats, wheels, lug conv., front end...and you get the picture lol

This is a little off topic, but does anybody know what type of sideskirts that 4 door type-R has? I'm looking for a set of nonaggressive sideskirts for my db8, and those look really nice. The Integra coupe OEM sideskirts look nice as well.. too bad they don't make them for our 4 doors.

i bet if you refinish and paint your oem skirtts, they would stand out jsut as well.

My shop is currently refinishing and painting oem skirts on a civic hatch. The results will be like night and day.

i've seen people on here calling them Aztec style skirts or something like that, i think there's a front lip that goes with them for the USDM front ends.
