I searched and didnt come up with anything. I recently bought myself a 93 civic hatch and the kid that had it before me hacked the factory plug off the wiring harness for the stereo. Does anyone know what the wiring color codes for power, ground, ignition, right front, right rear, left front, left rear speakers and ilumination are? In my haynes manual I bought, there is no wiring schematics for the stereo. Can someone shed some light on this?

 

Wht/blue.............12v+
yel/rd.................12v+ ign
black..................ground
rd..................RF+
br..................rf-
blue...............lf+
gray...............lf-
rd..................rr+
br..................rr-
blue...............lr+
gray..............lr-

damn thats different from what some other guy gave me. he probably gave me just the general colors from the deck...LOL

 

I found a little more exact color codes that I can post later tonight.

 

RR+ Red w/ yellow stripe
LR+ Blue w/ yellow stripe
12volt Ignition Yellow w/ red stripe
RR- Brown w/ white stripe
LR- Gray w/ white stripe
Ground Black
12volt battery White w/ blue or yellow stripe
LF+ Blue w/ green stripe
RF+ Red w/ green stripe
LF- Gray w/ black stripe
RF- Brown w/ black stripe

i sent those to you .... thats what was on the package of my harness clip to after market radio.. and as far as illumination, the new radios use the yellow wire for the illumination with the radio.. so no need for the orance illumination wire.... and also the dark blue is for power antenna
