Yes, the clutch was down. My friend just got an 89si about a week ago. This morning he couldnt get the car in gear, every gear was locked, reverse doesnt work either. It cranks, and sounds like someone mis-shifted. He tried putting it in first and starting it to see if it goes. But once the clutch is slightly eased off it shakes and basicly wants to stall. Is this a slave/master cylinder problem? Anyone know whats up?
