Since my car was originally going to be a race car i chucked all my inner fenders in the garbage.
Just wondering if anyone has gone a long time without inner fenders and how their car is holding up.

Paul, I've been without inner fenders all summer and now into the winter. It sucks, I get lots of sand and salt in the doors and stuff.
I'd just put them in, you'll get rubber and all sorts of things in there.

every honda i have owned i have taken them out when i lower it . it really doesnt bother me at all .. i just make sure to clean inside the door area every week when i wash and everytime i take the door panel off i make sure to clean out the bottom the best i can.

My car took mine out for me. I was goin pretty quick around a sweeping corner about 2 years ago and the car leaned far enough for the tire to rip one side out!
So when I got home I took both out and threw them away.
I wish I still had them though. I would just use the part near the door jams to keep some grime out, but not really a problem.

I sprayed the inside of my fenders with a light coat of undercoating after I took the inners out. Protects against nippling from rocks and stuff.
i have 'em on the new hatch but on my old crx i didn't for like a year and a half and had no problems, besides the dirt like everyone mentioned already. anyone else get alot of little tiny rocks too?
yes I do and now when I open my door it tends to scratch up the paint on the side skirts... Mine just got painted of course. My fender liner flew off doing 50 mph on the highway the same day my car got painted...
not that all the little pebbles have gather inside the usual spot I have paint chipping there now.
