be like me and do it on cheap tyres if your going to drift style...the ones on my CRX been drifted and smoked plenty of times with no visable wear except rubber burnt smell.

the only _good_ reason for pulling the e-brake is
to save yourself from an accident, i don't think you
want to find yourself with a non-fuctioning (Emergency)
brake when you lose control on some twisty road.

however, if you are compelled to rip it every once
in a while learn how to do it correctly, that is never
pulling it all the way up and never taking your finger
off the button. if you're trying to do stunt driving, do
it someplace safe like a big empty parking lot or a
track so as to protect others.

if you want to try something fun, give it some gas in
reverse, pull the brake slightly and turn, let the brake
out and keep turning. shift to neutral and quickly into
first and you're on your way useful if you're being
chased by some 'goddamn street racers'.

please, stop trying to "drift", I don't know where you got the impression that your FF car could "drift" (perhapse a little to much Super Street), I don't car what eanyone says about Lift-Overstear, Faint-Turn, what ever, or how on Opion VM #34 there was some japanese guy explaining how to set up civic to drift,or how you have a JDM front, or spoon parts, or a mugen spoiler, YOU CAN'T DRIFT A FF, for the sole reason that IT IS *** DRAGING, you aren't breaking the rear loose you are looking it up, so you can'T get traction back smoothly, and do this to often you will warn pads, broken e-brake cables, etc, save you break for emergancies and learn the joys of road/circut racing, and if you want to drift buy a RX-7 because it is immposible to drift in a honda(I know even the s2000(converable with no torque, + it a really a track car) or NSX, a super car that you would not want to learn drift in becaus fenders and quater pannels are expensive)

However if we step of the tarmac and into a snow or gravel stiuation(where you R is not the best car for the sittuation) you can do rally trun where you go sidways to scub off speed, however I sujest that you enjoy you car as a TRACK(not drag or drift) car and if you want to focus on different aspects of driving or motorpsort them get a better car
